I love Sarees, even though I don’t wear them that often, I love it, the silhouette and knowing that you can style a Saree in million ways makes it all the more sexy, don’t you think? I have come across this amazing Handloom Saree brand named Unnati Silks. Unnati Silks, largest ethnic online Indian shop who offers exquisite sarees and have such a wide range of Indian Sarees and Salwar Kameez and much more.
What I love most about Unnati Silks is that they have the collection for all the occasions like office wear, or shopping wear or party wear or casual wear and top of it the fabric is all Indian fabrics, our base, our strengths like silks, cotton, chiffons, organza, jute, our rich handloom fabrics etc. And my liking for Unnati Silks doesn’t end here, it is exclusive on prices, I am sure you can’t find such quality products anywhere online than them, they ship goods within 24 hrs of order and have both Free Shipping and Cash on Delivery services in Metro and B cities. They also have worldwide Shipping Express to numerous countries like US, UK, France, Sri-lanka etc. So they are everywhere. So I am wrong if I love it so much, I guess not and you will too love it once you see the collection.
They have started their journey like this, and they are now everywhere, read below and you will see the incredible growth of Unnati Silks in years, which is remarkable:
Unnati’s journey in textiles, especially handloom fabrics, started in 1980 when Unnati Silk Prints Private Limited came into existence, in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
“Unnati” is from the Sanskrit language, meaning “constant progress towards success”. Right from the start, the goal has been – “delivering the best” to the customers and till date, there has been no slackness in the efforts to meet it.
Unnati started as a single small store that rapidly progressed to a big one and then branched to several in the city of Hyderabad itself. Today the seed of the single shop has flowered into a family enterprise with global operations that includes manufacturing and printing activities of fabrics in wholesale that is also sold in retail and online.
NICHE POSITION in HANDLOOMS
From the beginning, Unnati has had its strength in traditional handlooms, by concentrating its mite there. An association with master weavers and craftsmen in traditional handloom pockets across India has been with the idea of contributing to the cause of Indian ethnic that aims to foster and encourage the skills and craftsmanship of the Indian handloom weaver, by providing opportunities for growth and propagation.
During the journey, we realized, that the market for handlooms has been showing a rising trend in the demand for original, artistic, eye-catching designs that we sensed could be met partially with the manner in which the sarees were printed. In 1993, a separate textile printing unit was established under the small-scale industrial policy. The initial experiments with innovative designs and unique fashionable prints but with the use of traditional Indian printing methods were received enthusiastically.
The year 1995 saw Unnati registered as a Private Limited Company. Looking at the volume of business and the tremendous response of the market to our novel sarees, a branch office at Kolkata (a hub also for extraordinary embroidery work) in 2006, was inevitable.
PRAKRITI JOINS UNNATI
In the year 2000, another store “Prakriti Dress Materials” which exclusively stores Unstitched Salwar Kameez Fabrics, was set up. The word “Prakriti” is also taken from the Sanskrit language, meaning “Nature”.
Prakriti was mainly to cater to the growing demand for the modern stylish salwar kameez that has caught the fancy of the primarily Indian, USA, Canadian and UK markets.
Unnati Silks has an enviable collection of 300 + Saree Varieties and 60 + Salwar Kameez Varieties from 21 States of India. Available at Unnati’s Stores and selectively displayed on the website, it would not be wrong in claiming it as the widest range of Indian ethnic handloom Sarees and Salwar Kameez available under a single banner.
Unnati also has a new-look range of handloom kurtis and kurtas and a vibrant designer section of fancy fabrics clubbed under Unnati Concepts, that has received a tremendous response.
Unnati Silks, despite the changing market conditions, has always maintained attractive and affordable rates that have built for it a solid base of loyal customers who have been associated with Unnati for years, and the number is growing.
So today I am here to show you how I styled my Unnati Silk Organza Silk Bengal Pink Saree by Cotton Check. I believe in women empowerment. Today we are stronger than what we were years before, all of us have unique ways to do everything. So this style for me is very special because I want to celebrate unique with my blog family and show you that “We are what we are and no one can stop us now”. So I hope you love how I make my simple saree look extremely stylish by doing absolutely nothing much and more-so-over I am super comfortable in this way of wearing a saree. It is my comfort zone.
